Bartender?

Apparently, I have a skill for bartending. Maybe one day I’ll open my own bar. I’ll have a bit of an exotic menu though.

Masao MIA

The last couple of months have been a bit nuts for me, so sorry for lack of… well everything. I’ve been caught in the middle of a turf war of peacocks working onĀ  a CBA and it’s lights out for not long enough while the big suits get to do the fun part of the thing. Anyway, do you know that in Japan people knock on public bathroom stalls to see if it’s occupied instead of trying to open it? Well this Japanese guy went to the US and knocked on a bathroom stall and the guy instead said “come in.” True story. Anyway, we had a pretty bad election here. I didn’t vote ’cause Irwin Cotler was supposed to win with 90% of the votes so it was useless, but yeah, it got tougher. Now we got 5 representatives in a majority government… looks like Quebec’s going to have some real influence in Ottawa now. Just kidding. It’s western Canada’s turn to get all the federal goodies. Oh man. Anyway Izanami and Izanagi had some pretty weird sexual fetishes. Their kids must have been traumatized.

I hate being busy

But at the same time, I don’t hate it.

It’s funny. The more things I have to do during the day and the more stressed out I am by work and obligations, the better I sleep and the more rested I am. On the other hand, when I have too much free time I’m constantly tired and have no energy.

Laziness is a vicious circle. That’s why people who work all day can’t understand lazy people. The more you work, the easier it is to keep working and have your life in order. That’s why parents should make their kids work and not make them grow up on free stuff.

It’s probably nature’s way of performing natural selection and eliminating people who become hurdles. But just because you’re a victim of natural selection doesn’t mean you can’t appeal that decision.

When I’m busy, I wish I wasn’t. When I’m not busy, I wish I was. When it’s summer I wish it was winter. When it’s winter I wish it was summer. When I’m with friends I wish I was alone. When I’m alone I wish I was with friends.

That’s probably our brain’s way of leading us to the just middle of things.

Some people are weird.

I see them everyday.

They’re dressed funny. Either they’ve got weird haircuts, or strange rings, tattoos on their face, baggy pants down to their knees so you can see their underwear, hats on backwards, whatever. They talk in strange languages and go through unhealthy efforts to look cool and badass.

And in conversation it’s like talking to someone rehearsing a comedy routine. Yo yo yo, making little noises, flashing weird hand signs.

‘kay, I get it. You’re a badass. But why the hell do you need me to think you’re a badass?

Scary

I’ve gotten messages telling me I’m scary.
I’m not trying to scare people hahaha.

I had to be my own surrogate parent, so obviously I turned out a bit weird. Trying to hide that weirdness killed me. I find that people like me better if they see the real me instead of me trying so hard to act “normal.” I’m not trying anymore, screw it!
And if you find me scary, you must think Eeyore is scary with a tail nailed in his coccyx. I love you Eeyore <3

Opening a blog

Note sure how this is supposed to work out.

I’ll just post some random stuff here every once in a while.

BTW, I think Wendy is kind of cute.
